"Writing felt a lot less overwhelming"
Our Brave Writer instructor was just... really kind, and actually helpful in a way that felt practical. The feedback she gave made sense to my kid, not just the usual “add more detail” kind of notes that leave everyone sort of staring at the page.
She also pointed out what he was already doing well, which I think mattered more than I expected. He’s usually anxious about writing, but this made it feel less like he was doing everything wrong. And she didn’t try to polish every single thing to death, which I appreciated.

By the end, he was writing more on his own without me having to hover or beg him to just start. So, I mean, for us, that was kind of the whole win right there.

"Good online class, just a little pricey"
My kid took an online Brave Writer class, it went better than I expected. The teacher was really kind and gave actual helpful feedback instead of just generic comments, which made writing feel a lot less stressful for both of us at home.
The only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is that it was a bit pricey for our budget, and a few weeks felt lighter than I thought they’d be. Still, we got a lot out of it, and I’d definitely consider signing up for another class in the future.

"We weren’t expecting anything over the top..."
We weren’t expecting anything over the top, just something that felt like a good value and kept the kids happy. On that front, it definitely delivered. For the money, it was worth it for us.

"My kids actually ask to write now"
I’ve tried a few other writing programs for my kids, and most of them felt like a chore after the first week. This one has been different. The lessons keep them engaged, and they actually talk about what they’re working on instead of just trying to rush through it. It’s been really nice seeing them want to keep trying and write more on their own.

"This seriously changed the writing battle at home"
Before Brave Writer, writing time in our house felt like a tiny daily showdown waiting to happen. I was bracing myself, the kids were sighing, and nobody was having a great time. But this actually helped me guide them without turning everything into worksheets and stress. I loved that it gave me ideas as the parent, so I didn’t feel like I was just tossing assignments at them and hoping for the best. It’s gentle, realistic, and doable for our homeschool days

"Really solid writing program"
We’ve been using Brave Writer for awhile now it’s been such a good fit for us. The lessons are put together really well without feeling dry or super school-ish, which I appreciate. My kids are actually writing more than they used to, and they don’t complain about it as much either. Some lessons do take us longer than I expected, but usually because we get pulled into a good discussion or they want to keep going. Overall, we’re really happy with it
